Study to evaluate the broadband expansion in Baden-Wurttemberg at the end of 2013 – Foundations, opportunities and obstacles

The Project

The study outlines key aspects of broadband expansion in Baden-Wurttemberg. This includes on the one hand the derivation of the importance of broadband for the federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg and on the other hand the analysis of the initial structural situation (spatial structures, population and economy) as well as the state of broadband development achieved until 2013 in the regions and municipalities.

Goals

The study aimed at identifying the existing and future obstacles, opportunities, models and scenarios that contribute to the acceleration of broadband expansion in Baden-Wurttemberg.
