Sales / Event Manager (m/f/d)

That’s why we’re currently seeking a Sales and Event Manager. This is generally a full-time position (40 hours per week).

Your area of responsibility:
- Sales & Customer Management: You will actively acquire new customers and business partners, manage existing customer relationships, and market our event, conference, and workshop offerings
- Quotes & Contract Management: You will advise our clients, prepare and calculate customized event quotes, and handle the negotiation of terms and conditions as well as contract administration.
- Event Management: You will design, plan, and organize events, conferences, and workshops for up to 150 people and oversee them from the initial inquiry through execution to follow-up.
- Organization & Service Management: You coordinate venues, technical requirements, and external service providers—such as catering and hostess services—and ensure that events run professionally and smoothly.
- Internal Meetings & Events: You will be responsible for organizing and managing internal meetings and events, coordinating rooms, equipment, catering, and other logistical needs.
- Internal Services: In addition, you will assist our Internal Services team with selected organizational and administrative tasks.
Your Profile:
- You have completed vocational training or a college degree, for example in event management, sales, the hotel industry, or the restaurant industry, and have practical experience in event sales and/or event management
- You enjoy actively approaching customers, identifying their needs, and winning them over with your sales and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of business
- You work independently, in an organized and proactive manner, and are able to maintain a clear overview even when multiple events are taking place simultaneously
- They see themselves as hosts, conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure a positive customer experience through their attention to detail
- Not only do you enjoy planning, but you also pitch in on-site and respond flexibly and with a focus on solutions when things don’t go as planned
- You are proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications and can quickly familiarize yourself with new digital tools and systems
- You have business-level proficiency in German as well as very good English skills, and you communicate confidently with customers, business partners, service providers, and internal contacts
