Construction Manager for Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:
- Project Management in Building Construction: You will be responsible for providing technical support and managing challenging building construction projects within complex infrastructure initiatives
- Schedule, Cost, and Quality Management: You monitor schedules, construction progress, and quality standards, and provide support in ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements
- Stakeholder management: You coordinate clients, planning offices, construction companies, authorities and other project partners, ensuring a smooth project flow and serving as a competent contact person for construction-related questions.
- Technical Project Support: You will oversee the bidding process, contract awards, construction work, and final inspections, and contribute your expertise in construction engineering throughout all project phases.
- Reporting and Documentation: You will prepare reports, decision-making documents, and project documentation, and present technical information in a manner tailored to the intended audience
- Risk Management: You identify project risks early on, develop appropriate measures, and oversee their implementation
- Process Optimization: You will contribute your experience to continuously improve project workflows, quality standards, and management processes
Your Profile:
- A successfully completed degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in the planning, management, or execution of building construction projects
- Experience in coordinating complex construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant regulations and, ideally, experience in the public or publicly funded infrastructure sector
- Confident demeanor when dealing with clients, government agencies, and project partners
- An independent, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent written and spoken German skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany as needed
