Management of the REGIONALE process in the regions of Brandenburg

The Project

With the coalition agreement of November 19, 2019, the government coalition of Brandenburg agreed on the development and implementation of a cross-departmental regional development strategy (RES) based on development corridors and covering the entire area of Brandenburg. Existing development concepts and funding opportunities should be integrated regionally in the best possible way.
The REGIONALE process is therefore being set up under the coordination of the state government (lead management: State Chancellery). It serves as an informal framework instrument that accompanies the RES and drives a forward-looking discourse that strengthens regions and stakeholders and connects them through the joint development of key projects.

Goals

The aim of the project is the selection and qualification of strategic key projects in the regions, which enable a bundling of strategic components and thus lead to a broadening of the perspective of the previous regional development in Brandenburg.

aconium responsibilities

On behalf of the State Chancellery of Brandenburg, aconium GmbH supports the stakeholders in the five planning regions Havelland-Fläming, Lausitz-Spreewald, Oderland-Spree, Prignitz-Oberhavel and Uckermark-Barnim to identify regional key projects.
This includes:

• the establishment of working and decision-making structures within the regions,
• the development of conceptual and technical bases for agreeing on common regional goals, as well as
• the selection of key projects that are technically and spatially multidimensional and have a broad regional basis.
