Accompanying GigaMaP project office and data preparation with regard to the digital infrastructure in Hesse 2024

The included dashboard on digital infrastructure in Hesse provides easy access to the current and historical expansion figures of the respective districts of the federal state.

With the platform’s free services, the state of Hesse is helping its municipalities, districts and participating companies with the organizational, legal, financial and technical implementation of Hesse’s gigabit targets.

The project office supports the project management of the Broadband Office Hesse and ekom21 in all matters relating to the GigaMaP project.

Goals

The project office ensures the provision of relevant and up-to-date information in GigaMaP and in the dashboard on the digital infrastructure in Hesse. This support enables the Broadband Office Hesse and the project management to process inquiries effectively and thus advance broadband expansion in the federal state in a targeted manner.

Tasks of aconium GmbH

• Supporting the management of the Hesse Broadband Office and the project management by identifying tasks and challenges and developing proposals for action for strategy meetings
• Coordination of technical issues with the project participants
• Clarification of issues and procedures, including answers and implementation
• Quality assurance, project documentation and document management
• Updating, maintenance and hosting of the dashboard on digital infrastructures in Hesse
• Data procurement, preparation and evaluation of the broadband atlas data (gigabit land register), for example for the presentation of coverage over time, visually and in tabular form (also as a media package) as well as explanations on the status of the coverage data
• Evaluations and data preparation on fixed network expansion in Hesse, e.g. for prioritized processing of ad-hoc inquiries as well as analyses of supply data for districts and municipalities and evaluation of technical developments on market supply in Hesse
• Tracking and reporting concept for defined target achievement
