Product Owner: Data Business Intelligence (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Product Responsibility: You will lead the technical and strategic development of our business intelligence and data products and actively contribute to their ongoing optimization.
- Requirements Management: You analyze business requirements, translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items, and oversee their implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with business units, management, IT, and development teams to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned toward common goals.
- Backlog and Product Management: You prioritize requirements based on their business value, technical feasibility, and strategic relevance, and support agile product development.
- Business Intelligence & Data Management: You will further develop reporting and analytics platforms, help define master data, and lay the groundwork for data-driven decisions.
- Data Quality: Together with the business units, you will develop key performance indicators, data quality rules, and reporting standards, and ensure high data quality and consistency.
- Release Management: You will oversee new BI features from planning through testing and acceptance to successful implementation.
- Data Culture: You promote a data-driven approach within the organization and support the ongoing development of our BI and data infrastructure.
Your profile:
- You have several years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Consultant, or in a similar role, and have successfully led the development of data-driven products or solutions.
- You quickly grasp business requirements and translate them in a structured way into technical requirements, user stories, and actionable concepts.
- You have in-depth knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data warehousing, and a solid understanding of modern data platforms.
- You are proficient in working with relational databases, data modeling, and SQL, and you understand complex data structures.
- Ideally, you have already worked with tools such as Talend DI, Tableau, n8n, or similar BI and integration solutions.
- You are familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as working with product backlogs and prioritization methods.
- You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner and have a strong understanding of business value and economic relationships.
- You excel at communication and know how to reconcile differing interests and work together to develop viable solutions.
- Ideally, you will have some initial experience working with public sector data or reporting systems. Fluency in German and a very good command of technical English round out your profile.
