IT Project Manager (m/f/d)
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join us immediately, based anywhere in Germany but requiring regular on-site presence at our headquarters in Berlin. You will be part of an experienced team of IT project managers and product owners that is part of the aconium PMO (Project Management Office). The PMO works closely with public-sector clients and partners to implement digital transformation projects. This is generally a 40-hour-per-week position.

Your area of responsibility:
You will take on the technical leadership of exciting GIS product development projects and successfully bring ideas to fruition. In doing so, you will not only maintain an overview but also actively shape the future of our solutions:
- You will oversee and be responsible for technical project management in the GIS field—from the initial concept to the finished product
- They plan, coordinate, and document the entire project development process in a structured and goal-oriented manner
- As the primary point of contact, you will foster close and trusting relationships with our customers and confidently manage a wide variety of stakeholders
- You will work closely with our proposal management team and help develop compelling solutions
- They define milestones, align goals, and guide teams and customers toward shared success
- With a clear understanding of scope, timeline, and budget, you can manage projects effectively and take early action when necessary
Your Profile:
You combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills and keep a cool head even in complex projects:
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable IT program
- Several years of experience (at least 5 years) managing complex IT projects—ideally in the public sector
- A solution-oriented mindset and a structured, independent, and results-focused approach to work
- Enthusiasm for new technologies, innovation, and agile work methods
- Business-level German and very good English
- Experience with various project management methods and, ideally, a certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
