Last week Tim Brauckmüller, managing director of Breitbandbüro des Bundes, visited the Ukrainian capital Kiev as a delegation member of German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

First stop on Thursday was Podilsky Bridge. Crossing river Dnjepr and connecting the central Podil neighborhood to the left-bank parts of the city the two-level and 4 miles long bridge is intended to carry both, Kiev Metro and auto traffic in the future. Thus, it will be a substantial contribution to Kiev‘s infrastructural development. The visit was led by Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan as well as Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko.

In the afternoon German Minister Alexander Dobrindt met his Ukrainian colleague Omelyan discussing infrastructure development in the country. Afterwards a meeting with mayor Klitschko took place at Kiev city hall where a German report on completion of Podilsky Bridge was presented.

For aconium GmbH central topics of the meetings were digital infrastructure and electric mobility in Ukraine.
