Digital laboratory for the implementation of digital measures
The last of a total of four expert workshops, the measures workshop took place in Großenhain at the beginning of March. The aim was to further develop so-called action plans with the help of local experts so that only a few steps are needed for implementation.
The process of implementing the digitalization strategy in the district of Meißen is nearing its conclusion, characterized by broad participation both locally and digitally. After intensive collaboration and exchange, a total of eleven measures are now ready to drive forward the digitalization strategy in the areas of business development, services of general interest and administration.
One particular highlight was the meeting of experts from various areas in Grossenhain. Representatives from administration, IT, mobility, culture, health and business development jointly prioritized and developed the ideas to date – an important step towards the strategic goals and visions. The proposed measures cover a broad spectrum: from New Work and the digitalization of administration to the development of digital skills in outpatient patient care.
The introduction of app-based mobility services and the availability of regional products around the clock via digital sales containers are also part of the innovative strategy. It became particularly clear during the presentation of the results that the success of many measures depends crucially on thinking and implementing them together and holistically. For example, the establishment of stationary sales containers is not only a question of supply, but also of accessibility and compatibility and thus of participation and mobility. The same applies to the establishment of coworking spaces in the district, as areas for multifunctional spaces can also be developed here: A flexibly bookable workplace with shopping facilities also contributes to the goal of sustainable regional development, as the sale of regional products also strengthens regional value creation.
The implementation of digital measures therefore focuses primarily on the use of synergies in order to sustainably improve the quality of life and economic efficiency in the district of Meißen.
