The triple is complete: aconium receives the TOP 100 seal for the third year in a row. This annual award is a prestigious traditional prize that has been awarded for 30 years to medium-sized companies that have demonstrated particularly future-oriented innovation management.
The TOP 100 innovation competition is organized on behalf of compamedia and once again analyzed the innovative strength of aconium GmbH in size category C, in which companies with more than 200 employees are compared. The basis of this independent study, which is based on verifiable data, is a catalog of around 120 test criteria from the categories “Innovation-promoting top management”, “Climate of innovation”, “Innovative processes and organization”, “External orientation/open innovation” and “Innovation success”.
In this comparison, aconium was able to assert itself against a large number of competitors. It was helped by the diversity of its projects, in which it was able to demonstrate the various facets of its innovative strength. For example, aconium GmbH initiates, supports and designs projects on topics such as the development of smart city models, the digitalization of education, the development of innovative district heating technology and the promotion of automated road traffic – to name just a few selected examples.
There are profound questions behind the comparison: are innovations random events or are they the result of a traceable process that can be systematically planned? If the latter is the case, this would mean that innovative progress can be repeated in a targeted manner. In addition, the study provides information on whether the innovative services resulting from these advances are successful on the market and how they develop.
Tim Brauckmüller, Managing Director of aconium GmbH, categorizes the award and draws conclusions for aconium GmbH: “The renewed award of the TOP 100 seal shows that we have established the right processes to promote innovation within our company in the long term. These processes include questioning work routines, breaking new ground and ensuring an open flow of ideas within the company. They are particularly important in aconium GmbH’s field of business, which includes the development and expansion of future technologies – after all, we have to constantly adapt to new market developments and new scientific findings that require flexibility and creativity. The award confirms that we as a company have created an equally stable and flexible foundation on which we can build in the future.”
