The Interreg North Sea Region project Futures By Design is taking part in the Promotiedagen trade fair. This year, the trade fair will take place in presence again for the first time, in compliance with the current Corona regulations. aconium GmbH will present the Futures By Design project on site with its own exhibition stand.
The Promotiedagen is an annual ‘business to business’ trade fair in Groningen, which will take place this year on November 9 and 10, 2021. With 600 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors over two days, the Promotiedagen are one of the largest business meetings in the Netherlands and are of great importance for the economy in the region.
Together with the Swedish Alexanderson Institute, aconium GmbH is responsible for communication management as part of Futures By Design and is responsible for implementing the content with SMEs in north-west Germany. Because of aconium GmbH’s contact with SMEs in the region, the promotion days are a great opportunity to present the project and exchange ideas with the other participants and visitors.
Futures By Design accompanies SMEs on their way to a data-based way of working, which enables companies to optimize their work processes and ultimately save time and money. As part of the project, SMEs go through a data journey, which begins with an online self-evaluation of their current level of knowledge and implementation of data-based solutions. Based on this, they receive specific impulses by email at regular intervals on ways to use data sustainably in their business processes. The tools developed in the project partnership play a central role here and are supplemented by various workshops and webinars. In addition, data projects are carried out with the SMEs participating in the project, which are geared towards the specific needs of the companies and in which Futures By Design provides support and guidance.
