The Hightech Summit 2021 “ENGINEERING THE DIGITAL AND GREEN FUTURE IN MOBILITY, MANUFACTURING, MEDICINE & MEDIA” will be held from 18.10. to 21.10.2021 and will focus on current technological developments under the aspect of “Green & Digital”.
The main focus is on the future design of mobility and the associated social, ecological and economic challenges. As part of this, the mobility session focused on application-oriented examples of the mobility of the future. Data-driven mobility transformations, such as autonomous driving, as well as variations in drive types, including energy sources, through to the use of digital technologies in terms of sustainability were discussed and put up for debate.
The mobility session was opened by Gudrun Heute-Bluhm, Managing Director of the Baden-Württemberg Association of Cities and Towns, who is in charge of the InKoMo 4.0 office together with aconium GmbH. Gudrun Heute-Bluhm introduced the topic of mobility of the future in municipalities and emphasized the relevance of networking between players in the mobility industry and municipalities. Selected InKoMo 4.0 projects showed that possible collaborations between these groups of stakeholders work successfully.
Despite the numerous challenges of digitalization in the field of mobility, the practical reports from the mobility session showed that high-tech innovative strength can and will make a mobility transformation towards sustainable, digitalized mobility possible.
The aim of this year’s Hightech Summit is to discuss current digitalization trends under the aspect of “Green & Digital”. In line with the motto “Green & Digital”, current technological advances will be discussed in interdisciplinary expert groups with regard to their opportunities and challenges in terms of efficient and resource-saving solutions.
The three-day event is organized in a hybrid format. In addition to the CyberOne award ceremony on the second day of the event at the Hospitalhof in Stuttgart, the main topics of “Media”, “Manufacturing”, “Medicine” and “Mobility” will be spread across Karlsruhe, Ulm, Mannheim and Breisach on the first and third days of the event.
In addition, the participants of the Hightech Summit had the opportunity to network in the form of a virtual matchmaking event, which took place this morning.
The InKoMo 4.0 office supported the mobility session of this year’s Hightech Summit 2021 on “Engineering the Digital and Green Future in Mobility” on December 20, 2021 at the BadenCampus in Breisach am Rhein.
