The DIGITAL FUTUREcongress took place in Munich on 17.09.20 under the motto “SMEs meet digitalisation”. aconium had a stand at this face-to-face event, which was held successfully thanks to a comprehensive hygiene concept. In compliance with the hygiene and distancing regulations, visitors were able to obtain extensive information at Bavaria’s largest digitalisation congress trade fair: Numerous speakers, panel discussions and workshops offered visitors a varied information programme. In addition, interested parties were able to visit the trade fair virtually via app and thus engage in secure networking. The conference was aimed at SMEs from all sectors who wanted to find out about developments and trends in digital technologies.

The digital trade fair focused on topics such as online marketing & sales, process optimisation & communication, new working environments & FUTUREthinking, cyber security & data security/IT law, as well as digitalisation & transformation at trade fairs and workshops. 150 exhibitors provided advice on special requirements for the digitalisation of companies and the successful implementation of digital projects. They also offered the opportunity to discuss best practice solutions for new digitalisation strategies. The presentations on offer were well attended and followed with great interest. After young entrepreneurs were able to present themselves throughout the day, the coveted Start-Up Award was presented at the end as one of the many highlights.

Staff from the Munich regional office provided information on intelligent mobility, regional development and European networks as well as general digitalisation issues at the aconium stand. Interested visitors were able to take a look at the loose-leaf collection on municipal broadband expansion published by aconium GmbH and have their questions answered on other topics such as e-mobility and digital education.
