In the webinar series of the DIHK’s “5G@Mittelstand” roadshow, 5G experts from aconium GmbH will give a presentation on the topic “Overview of frequency-related aspects” of 5G expansion. In the one-hour online seminar, Eike Gutt, Head of Mobile Communications at aconium GmbH, and Dr. Anna Beck, Mobile Communications Project Manager, will provide an overview of the various frequency ranges used for public 5G networks and campus networks. In the webinar, the speakers will first discuss the physical propagation conditions of the different mobile radio frequencies. This will be followed by a classification of the frequency ranges and their suitability for use in campus networks as well as an overview of the possible fields of application. The focus will be on the 3.7-8 GHz band that is already available today and the 26 GHz band that can be used in the future.
