From February 13 to 14, 2019, the final conference “Connecting Seas” of the two INTERREG projects “NorthSEE” and “Baltic LINes” funded by the European Union will take place in Hamburg. The conference will focus in particular on the status quo, development opportunities, future trends and maritime spatial planning for the North Sea and Baltic Sea. The focus will primarily be on the topics of shipping, energy and the environment. The formats of the English-language event include panel discussions, round tables and workshops.

More than 200 participants from politics, the shipping and energy industry as well as transnational organisations and initiatives, environmental associations, NGOs and research institutions are expected to attend the event in Hamburg.

The conference is organised by aconium GmbH.
