The municipal heating plan for the town of Aschersleben is in its final stages: the results of the planning were presented at a second public event. Numerous residents, as well as representatives from the trades, industry and politics, attended to learn about the findings and the next steps in the local heating plan.

The focus was on the target scenario and the proposed measures. The target scenario serves as a vision for the future and demonstrates how different urban areas could be supplied with heat in a realistic, economically viable and climate-neutral manner by the target years 2030, 2035, 2040 and 2045.

In addition to the Consumer Advice Centre, the Saxony-Anhalt State Energy Agency was also present to provide in-depth information on the various topics. For the town of Aschersleben, transparency, dialogue and public participation have been at the heart of the heating plan from the very beginning. In this way, the town is laying the foundations for sustainable, transparent and long-term decisions.

The involvement of citizens and relevant stakeholders remains a central part of the process. As the main contractor, we are responsible for overall coordination – from technical planning and process management to communication and on-site engagement. Together with digikoo GmbH, we are developing a fact-based, long-term sustainable heating concept and a realistic implementation strategy for a climate-neutral heat supply by 2045.
