Student Trainee in the Area of European Funding Projects (m/f/d)
We are currently looking for a working student in the area of “EU Funding Programs and Project Management.” In this position, you’ll be able to fully apply the knowledge and skills you’ve gained through your studies and practical experience, as you’ll be working on exciting European collaboration projects focused on energy efficiency, climate resilience, digitalization, and open data.

Your area of responsibility:
- Participation in various EU-funded projects and grant proposals (e.g., from the INTERREG, Horizon Europe, and LIFE programs).
- Including the following activities:
- Administrative and organizational tasks (preparing for and following up on meetings and presentations, documenting results, communicating with partners, etc.)
- Participation in data and background research
- Assistance with conducting interviews
- Project Communication & Content Creation
- Assistance with preparing social media posts and news articles
- Researching relevant events and networking activities.
- Support for KPI Reporting: Systematic collection, sorting, and preparation of key performance indicators (KPIs) within the international consortium in preparation for reporting.
- Monitoring & Documentation:
- Editorial Maintenance of Project Platforms
- Assistance with documenting project activities.
What you bring to the table:
- You are a student who has completed at least three semesters of study, for example, in the fields of geography, economics, urban planning, or sustainability management
- Interest in cross-border European issues
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills (for international correspondence and drafting documents)
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for data maintenance).
- A structured approach to work and an instinct for communicating in a way that resonates with the target audience
In addition, the following would be desirable:
- Experience with Process and Project Management
- Knowledge of EU regional policy and structural funds
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods
- Another EU language in addition to German and English
