Version 4.1 of the material concept came into force on April 2, 2019. It applies to all new applications, but can also be used by districts and municipalities that already have a grant notification.
The new features of the material concept essentially relate to the following points:
- For domestic and commercial connections, pipe fittings with a minimum size of 12 x 10/6 must be used.
- In addition, a definition of sufficient reserve capacity has been included for the construction of longer routes, such as the individual connection of schools or hospitals: If the length of the route is greater than one kilometer, two pipe sections with a minimum size of 12 x 10/6 must be installed over the entire length of the trench.
