Geodata and platforms

Table of contents

The visualization of geoinformation plays a decisive role in the modern administration and planning of municipalities. It can be used to improve the infrastructure relevant to digitalization in a targeted manner, use resources efficiently, ensure the quality of services and promote the economic development of the municipality.

In order for local decision-makers to benefit from the data, it must be prepared in a visually understandable way. Geoinformation systems have proven themselves for this purpose. In the form of computer-aided and web-based applications, they form the ideal platform for transparently bringing together diverse data sources and fields of action such as municipal infrastructure, fiber optic expansion, protected areas and other relevant information.

Targeted digitization – with the aconium GIS platforms

The aconium GIS Hub is the central application developed by us for the collection, processing, visualization and analysis of spatial data. It combines location-specific information with content from official statistics, national and regional databases and cadastres in comprehensible, dynamic and interactive maps. These already support stakeholders in many federal states in making decisions on all topics relevant to the spatial development of municipalities and regions.

Cross-thematic Infrastructure Atlas (ISA) Saxony

The ISA Saxony provides comprehensive information on broadband expansion in Saxony. In addition to relevant maps on the development of the necessary infrastructure, the ISA also provides data on environmental aspects such as protected areas and services of general interest in the form of geodata on e-charging stations, e-charging stations and co-working spaces.
