Project sponsors are institutions that handle funding and support projects. As the project management agency for the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport’s funding program for the expansion of gigabit internet, aconium GmbH is entrusted by the ministry with sovereign authority and acts on its behalf in a fiduciary capacity. We support the public sector in project development in the areas of digitalization, energy, mobility and education. In addition, we manage the program as an approval and auditing authority and ensure compliance with the relevant procedures.
