Digitalization is changing numerous industries – and the water industry is not immune. Smart technologies simplify the collection and analysis of data in order to precisely assess water conditions, for example. Data-based findings can be used to efficiently implement targeted protective measures against overuse and climatic changes.

As a driver of the digital transformation of municipal infrastructures, the Federal Association Municipal 4.0 is committed to making the water industry fit for the future. In this context, the second online impulse event “Impulses for a networked water industry” will take place on March 20. Interested parties can join in live via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. and gain valuable insights into topics such as water supply, wastewater, IT security, energy and management.

As a member of the broadband association Kommunal 4.0, aconium GmbH is actively involved in the event and contributes its many years of experience to the program development. With its expertise in digital transformation and sustainable water management, aconium supports the professional exchange and contributes to the discussion with practical impulses.

A special highlight is the presentation by our expert, Kerstin Braun. In her presentation “Digitalization in the water industry”, she will provide valuable insights into how digital innovations can be driven forward through targeted funding.

Other exciting presentations will focus on the use of AI in network management, IT and OT security, the reduction of emissions through freight-based control concepts, smart water supply and energy savings through optimized aeration in aeration tanks.

The event is free of charge and will take place online. Further information on the program, a flyer and a registration option can be found here:
