Brainstorming workshop to kick off the creation of the Meißen district’s digital strategy
As part of the “Smarte.Land.Regionen” model project of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the district of Meißen and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Meißen GmbH (WRM) are developing a digitalization strategy together with aconium GmbH and Daten-Kompetenzzentrum Städte und Regionen (DKSR GmbH).
The first step was an idea generation workshop, which took place in Grossenhain on April 25, 2023. Participation in this workshop is essential for the creation of the strategy. Based on an inventory of digitalization approaches and measures in the district, ideas for further strategy and participation processes were collected and discussed. Participants from the district administration office and the district’s municipalities took part in this. The exchange also served to define the specific project objective. This led to the development of future visions for digitalization in the district and the development of initial explicit approaches for the areas of public services, economic development and administration. This laid the foundation for the further strategy development process. This will be designed in such a way that the participants can continuously contribute their experiences and needs.
