“Get on and ride” is the theme of this year’s ebike your life Festival 2022 – a perfect motto for the “Genuss Bike Paradies” cooperation project supported by aconium GmbH, which will be presented to the public at the event in Werningerode am Harz on May 21 and 22, 2022. This is because the project is on the conceptual home stretch.
Together with various regional and European partners, a comprehensive network of routes has been developed that connects the Harz Mountains and large parts of the Harz foreland. In addition to the routes themselves, an extensive network of partner businesses has also been established to create moments of pleasure for guests in addition to cycling in the beautiful nature of the German low mountain range. The unique combination of active vacations with wellness and adventure moments is the heart of the project and at the same time the central result of three years of conception in order to provide sustainable structural support for the Harz Mountains as a tourism location and the businesses and hospitality industry located there and thus to inspire new target groups for e-bike vacations in the Harz Mountains.
In addition to project management, aconium GmbH coordinated the content-related work between the partners as part of the cooperation project and supported them in the implementation of the individual modules. The focus was particularly on aspects of strengthening rural areas, but also always with a view to the use of sustainable resources in the sense of an ecologically and economically holistic implementation.
For two days, potential guests, interested regional businesses and visitors to the event will have the opportunity to find out about the current status of the project at the stand on Nicolaiplatz in Werningerode and talk to those involved. The supporting program will be rounded off with guided e-bike tours at various levels of difficulty and exhibitions on innovations from the bicycle industry.
