A busy week lies behind aconium. From August 28 to 29, we took part in two trade fairs: KOMMUNAL in Oldenburg and the Merseburg Digital Days. But first things first.

KOMMUNAL in Oldenburg, with its focus on the needs and challenges of municipalities, is an important platform for exchanging information on products, services and solutions for municipal tasks with more than 140 exhibitors, 39 represented and topic-relevant sectors and 2,500 decision-makers from cities and municipalities.

As aconium has expertise in regional and municipal development, we also wanted to make a contribution to the trade fair and were therefore represented with a stand. Here, visitors were able to find out about national funding programs and learn more about municipal heat planning, climate adaptation measures, critical infrastructure and sustainable energy supply from our experts on site.

The Digital Days in Merseburg followed the motto: Smart City and Digital Administration – We’re leading the way!” The focus here was on the latest trends and technologies for the digitalization of municipalities. In numerous presentations, workshops and discussion rounds, decision-makers from business, politics, administration and science were able to exchange ideas on various digital topics. We were also represented here with a stand.

Interested parties were able to find out about our services and ideas for regional development and were shown the master portal. With the help of this open source solution, aconium has already created a digital twin for Neunburg vorm Wald, for example, with which the town can access vivid 3D planning scenarios in the web browser as a basis for urban development simulations.
