Are you (or have you been) involved in a project providing citizens with access to high-speed broadband internet? Then you may be a candidate for the 2018 European Broadband Awards! All successfully implemented or advanced projects, big or small, rural or urban, private or public and of all technologies may apply for the awards. As in the previous years, there will be different categories for applications.

Categories

The projects will be awarded in one of the five categories:

  1. Innovative models of financing, business and investment
  2. Cost reduction and co-investment in a future proof infrastructure
  3. Territorial cohesion in rural and remote areas
  4. Socio-economic impact and affordability
  5. Openness and competition

The winners of the 2018 European Broadband Awards will be announced in the Broadband Awards Ceremony, taking place in Brussels in November 2018 in the framework of the Broadband Days, and will be showcased by the European Commission in the media, website, newsletters and in the good practice database. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
