It was the long-awaited reunion: For two days during KOMMUNALE 2021, the Nuremberg Exhibition Center was transformed into a meeting place for all players and experts in the field of public administration.
On both days of the trade fair (October 20/21), atene KOM presented its entire range of digital solutions and specialist expertise for the public sector at its own stand. In Hall 9, our experts provided information on the latest technological innovations. The variety of topics ranged from 5G as part of a smart region concept, infrastructure funding and innovative mobility to the educational offerings of the Competence Center for Digital Education. Particularly popular with the 100 or so visitors to the stand on both days: all the information and application examples on mobile communications and measurement technology.
Germany’s largest trade fair for public administration and municipal requirements was all about the live experience: over 3,200 municipal decision-makers came to Nuremberg to find out about innovations and trends in municipal requirements from 330 exhibitors. What is happening in the field of municipal IT? How is e-government progressing? How can the energy transition be realized in municipal practice? At the same time, participants at the accompanying Bavarian Municipal Congress discussed current municipal policy challenges such as coronavirus, digitalization and climate change.
