Helping to shape the future of the region – this is what the Kassel-Land association is offering interested citizens as part of the LEADER application. It starts with two regional conferences.
With the start of the new year, the process of creating a local development strategy for the Kassel-Land region is also entering a new round. At two public regional conferences, all citizens and interested parties can find out in detail about the EU funding program LEADER, the process of developing the local development strategy and the opportunities for participation. Citizens from the district of Kassel and the three municipalities in the Schwalm-Eder district (Edermünde, Gudensberg and Niedenstein) are cordially invited to set the course for the future together with the Region Kassel-Land e.V. association.
The virtual regional conferences will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, February 3, 2022, 19:00-20:30.
aconium is also taking part in the events as a project partner of the Kassel-Land region association. The content includes regional example projects, a presentation of the LEADER method, keynote speeches and subsequent discussions and exchanges.
What impact do global transformation processes have on personal living, housing and working situations? The keynote speech in particular is intended to give participants an insight into the challenges that structural change poses for rural regions. And what opportunities are associated with it at the same time: Because citizens can actively shape this process.
