More than 170 lighting professionals took part in the mid-term webinars of the LUCIA project in autumn 2020 and learned about various aspects of public lighting. The documentation of the webinar series is now available.
Interested parties and specialists can now find the recordings, presentations and written summaries of the most important conclusions of the six webinars on the LUCIA project website. In addition to keynotes by various experts, each webinar also gave insights into the interim results of the LUCIA pilot projects and provided the opportunity for peer exchange.
These are some of the questions that were discussed during the webinars:
- What role can light play in a “people first” smart city?
- How can lighting master plans help to create liveable urban spaces?
- What is light pollution and what can we do to reduce it?
- How can cities and municipalities develop new business models around intelligent lighting?
- How can we benefit from multifunctional lighting technologies?
- How will the evolution of personal mobility impact urban lighting?
