In times of Corona and the corresponding restrictions, the enormous importance of the expansion of fast gigabit connections as the basis for digitization becomes obvious.
In order to keep driving this expansion forward despite the pandemic, aconium GmbH, as a leading service provider in the field of digitalization and in particular as the project sponsor for the federal broadband funding programme on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), is holding important information events in the form of video workshops while ensuring the usual good contend quality. Online workshops for applicants in the federal broadband funding program took place again this week. On May 7, 2020, a virtual workshop on “Basic Broadband Knowledge” was held with great success and a great deal of commitment from the grant recipients and municipal representatives of the state of Baden-Württemberg. In a further training course on 13 May 2020 on the topic of “Requesting funds and proof of use in the federal broadband funding program”, interested municipal representatives and grant recipients were informed about how funds can be requested in the federal funding program. The lively participation and commitment of all those involved sets the right tone at times like these and illustrates the important role that digitalization and the associated infrastructure projects play in Germany. Due to the high demand, aconium has once again significantly expanded its range of services and is offering comprehensive workshops – currently via video conference – to accompany the federal government’s broadband funding.
