On April 26, 2022, a half-day workshop for information and coordination took place as part of the creation of the Local Development Strategy (LES) for the Kassel-Land region with the general meeting. aconium hosted the event together with the client, Region Kassel-Land e.V.
In order to have a common starting point, aconium GmbH presented the results of the participation formats that are decisive for the creation of the local development strategy and outlined the resulting visions for the Kassel-Land region. The ‘social regionalization’ model includes development goals with regard to the social, cultural, ecological and economic dimensions. Among other things, a common identity and a sense of unity are to be developed. The promotion of a resilient and climate-neutral economy is also in the interests of the citizens.
In the run-up to the workshop, she drafted the formal and content-related requirements that had to be observed for the new articles of association, rules of procedure, financial plan, etc. As a contractor, she supported Region Kassel-Land e.V. in developing a new self-image based on the results of the organizational development process.
The members had the opportunity to participate in the discussions and resolutions on organizational development. Decisions were made on the new version of the articles of association, rules of procedure and changes to the financial and contribution regulations. In addition, the selection of the projects listed in the LES and the use of funding in the fields of action as well as the weighting of the LES project selection process were decided.
Another item on the agenda, which is crucial for the coming years of regional development, was the establishment of the specialist forums: Experts, institutions and citizens are to come together in the areas of services of general interest, local recreation and tourism, regional economy and youth in order to further develop them together and realize project ideas. aconium accompanied the outlook for the future development and work of the association with a concept for permanent specialist forums.
