aconium Academy is now even more digital
New tablet training room for further training courses now ready for use

In the aconium Academy A lot is happening in the former signal box at the Berlin-Nordbahnhof site: While face-to-face events under the current corona conditions are currently only taking place on selected dates and in small groups in strict compliance with the Hygiene regulations the time was therefore used for a conversion and further modernization of the equipment. Since the end of 2021, our light-flooded “Nordbahnhof” conference room has been newly furnished and technically updated. Two whiteboards and 25 modern tablets are now available for use by participants in training courses and events. The learning concept provides for the lecturers to send practical exercises to the course participants’ devices via a master tablet and capture the results via a feedback function, making them directly evaluable. This further enhances the practical relevance of our specialist training courses and offers new opportunities for interaction between participants and instructors. A first field of application for the new technology has already been found: In spring, the Tablet Academy Germany will hold its first tablet training courses with teachers from Berlin at the aconium Academy. The aim of the cooperation is to familiarize teachers from all types of schools and districts in Berlin with the implementation of their lessons on digital devices. The teaching units are based on practical exercise scenarios on the tablets and a subsequent exchange of knowledge.
