The workshop was held in Horumersiel at the end of November 2024. aconium moderated both group work and input sessions on the four selected key areas of action: content hub, online sales, mobility and visitor guidance and digital guest and marketing map. Other topics such as open data, data management, public transport and knowledge transfer were also discussed.

As a result of the process, clear tasks were defined, a roadmap was drawn up, initial profiles of measures were drawn up and a territorial prioritization of the main areas of action was carried out.

Goals

The workshop served to provide the digitalization process with guidelines and to further develop and strengthen the “WE feeling” of the regional players. A shared understanding of the challenges and ideas for the future is crucial for sustainable success. Visions, missions and objectives were developed and ideas for measures were concretized.

Another target factor was the organization of cooperation. It forms an important cornerstone for the entire strategy process as well as for the implementation of selected measures. As part of this, the roles in the digitalization working group were sorted out and responsibilities in the process were clarified.
