Digital kickoff of the network of digital agencies of the federal states

At the initiative and invitation of the DigitalAgentur Brandenburg, the digital agencies and all similarly positioned institutions of the federal states agreed on closer cooperation on December 16. As part of the virtual kick-off, possibilities for joint coordination and knowledge transfer processes were also discussed. The digital agencies and corresponding staff units of the federal states are each entrusted with key strategic developments in digitalization, which usually involve initiating or supporting digitalization measures in areas of public services, the economy and digital infrastructures.

In the future, the ongoing exchange will focus on current digitalization topics and related solutions, as well as the exchange of experiences on the structure and organization of digital agencies as the respective support unit of the state government. In addition, the participants explored specific collaborations in relation to innovations such as the European Digital Services Act as well as possible joint event formats such as the nationwide Digital Day on June 24, 2022. The founding members of the network come from the federal states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saarland, Saxony and Thuringia.
