The guideline to support broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany will be extended beyond December 31, 2019. Applications for funding for broadband expansion can still be submitted at www.breitbandausschreibungen.de. The directive will only expire as soon as the new directive to support broadband expansion in white and gray areas within the meaning of the EU guidelines in connection with fast broadband expansion comes into force. The corresponding passage on the period of validity has been adapted in the funding guideline.
