Kick-off to the fiber optic trade fair year – aconium at BREKO Fiberdays 2023

Fiberdays will take place at the RheinMain CongressCentrum in Wiesbaden from March 15 to 16. aconium GmbH will be there again this year. We can be found in Hall South, Stand S5. In addition to our exhibition stand with great products and services, we will be offering talks with our experts. The focus of the event, the congress and the discussions will be on future-proof fiber optic networks. They are the foundation for the digital transformation of the economy and society. High-performance, resilient infrastructures form the foundation for the gigabit society and enable digital participation for all citizens in all areas of life, whether at work or at home, in the city or in the countryside. aconium has been making a valuable contribution to this for many years, helping and supporting municipalities with the expansion of fiber optics in Germany.

As part of the Fiberdays, which are organized by the German Broadband Association (BREKO), the telecommunications and digital industry will meet for two days in Wiesbaden to discuss the most important developments and topics of this and the coming years. These include the expansion plans of the private sector and municipalities as well as funding, financing, open access, skills shortages and inflation. The congress program focuses on five main topics: high-ranking representatives from industry and federal and state politics will discuss upcoming developments and decisions as part of the strategy, investor, innovation, open access and cooperation panel. The congress program, which will take place on four stages, will be integrated into the two exhibition halls and implemented in so-called open-space forums in the middle of the exhibition halls.

The municipal marketplace is new this year. Here, municipal decision-makers in particular are to be met and informed about their day-to-day challenges relating to broadband expansion. As part of the Fiberdays, municipal decision-makers can learn everything relevant to fiber optic expansion from atene-KOM employees and receive concrete solutions to their problems.
