Sofortprogramm „Perspektive Innenstadt!“

The Project

The immediate action program “Perspektive Innenstadt!” is designed to support municipalities in making their city centers sustainable with concepts tailored towards the local situation. Besides supporting the local retail sector, it also involves, for example, the creation of zones for new uses and the enhancement of the inner city’s attractiveness as a place to spend time. Digitalization and climate protection will be incorporated into the sustainable planning. In short, the aim is for people to discover the city as an urban environment in a new way.

The program is aimed at all Lower Saxony cities and municipalities with a population of 10,000 or more in which at least one basic center is defined and which have been significantly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic in their city centers.

A total of six fields of action were defined:

• Field of action 1: Concepts and strategies
• Field of action 2: Measures against empty and “problem” properties
• Field of action 3: Trade and services
• Field of action 4: Culture, leisure and tourism
• Field of action 5: Nature and climate protection
• Field of action 6: Transport and logistics

Goals

The program is aimed at municipalities significantly affected by the Corona pandemic, which have received a reserved budget from the Managing Authority ERDF and ESF within the Emergency Program. A non-refundable grant of a maximum of 90% of eligible expenses, supports concepts and strategies, measures against empty and abandoned and/or deteriorated properties, trade and services, culture, leisure and tourism, as well as transport and logistics.

aconium responsibilities

Among other services, the aconium GmbH has supported the city of Osterholz-Scharmbeck in the development of eight funding proposals s and collaborated on the conceptual design of individual projects.
In the project “Mein Fahrrad in Osterholz-Scharmbeck” in the field of action “Culture, leisure and tourism”, aconium GmbH also assumes tasks that include, alongside consulting for proposals, the project management, the marketing concept as well as the organisation and implementation of events.
