The Competence Center for Digital Education is taking part in the nationwide Digitaltag (Digital Day) with an exciting campaign
Closed educational institutions, homeschooling, an exceptional situation for pupils, learners, parents and teachers – the ongoing coronavirus pandemic poses major challenges for the national education system. One thing is obvious: the future of learning is digital. The sensible and skillful integration of digital media and tools is a basic prerequisite and offers opportunities for more individual, creative and varied learning. This is where the teaser workshop “Working virtually with pupils” developed by the Digital Education Competence Center (KDB) for the Digital Day comes in. In the 30-minute online teaser workshop, the Competence Center will show you how online tools can support you in your entry into digital learning and enrich your lessons. In 30 minutes, you can get an idea of how to use Mentimeter, Padlet and AnswerGarden and learn about H5P surveys. The free basic version of these tools can be used effectively in the classroom. Participants in the teaser course can get involved interactively via smartphone or computer or simply be inspired by the application scenarios. The free, practice-oriented teaser course aims at teaching staff, school authorities and other interested parties and is also suitable for digital beginners. Digital Day, which will take place on June 18, 2021, is intended to promote digital participation at a national level, make it tangible and open up discussions. More than 1,300 activities have already been registered.
