Fiberweek20 starts today – the purely virtual version of the fibre optic trade fair Fiberdays, which could not take place as a face-to-face event this year due to Corona. From October 12 to 16, 2020, a virtual trade fair and congress center will become the meeting place for the telecommunications industry and the digital scene.
The trade fair, organised by the German Broadband Association (BREKO), combines a congress, workshop and seminar programme as well as a total of seven virtual exhibition halls with more than 60 exhibitors. Fiberweek will focus in particular on business models and innovative products, smart cities, the digitalisation of municipalities and companies, fibre optic expansion and new media.
Exhibitors and visitors meet at virtual trade fair stands and interact in 1:1 live chats, group chats and video chats. Virtual presentations and workshops will be broadcast live.
As a leading service provider in the field of digitalisation, aconium GmbH will of course also be represented with its own stand at Fiberweek: You will find our digital exhibition stand in Hall 4, where we will inform you in live chats on the topics of digitalisation, smart regions and regional development.
aconium Managing Director Tim Brauckmüller will also give a presentation on the status quo of the federal funding programme on Thursday, 15 October at 10:30 a.m. and then engage in an exchange with experts during a panel discussion on the topic of “Fibre optic expansion: civil engineering & building networks”.
