The short line for innovative development projects in the region: Hesse can now also benefit from the expertise of aconium GmbH, as the Wiesbaden office was opened on November 3, 2016. The Hessian state capital now joins Leipzig, Brussels and Osterholz-Scharmbeck on the list of local offices.

Branch manager Barbara Hoffmann explains: “Our office covers the entire consulting and service portfolio of aconium GmbH, including, for example, comprehensive consulting on EU funding programmes – from identifying the right EU programme for an innovative project to putting together consortia, submitting applications and monitoring the project through to its evaluation. With our broad European network, we want to support companies and public clients in the competitiveness of the economy and regions.

To this end, the Wiesbaden branch can draw on the long-standing partner network and specialist expertise of the Berlin headquarters. The focus in Wiesbaden will be on advising local authorities and districts on the implementation of broadband funding from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), Industry 4.0 implementation and strategy development, as well as organizational consulting and network management.

We see ourselves as a strategic partner in areas such as digitalization and regional development, especially in rural regions,” adds aconium GmbH Managing Director Tim Brauckmüller. “Together with the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Hessen Trade & Invest, the chambers of industry and commerce and other stakeholders, we want to create synergy effects in the respective offers and competencies that serve the state and the companies.

aconium GmbH is already involved in numerous projects in Hesse: As an entrusted project management agency of the BMVI, it is in permanent contact with Hessian municipalities and districts as well as the state’s broadband competence center and performs consulting and information tasks. As a transfer agency for the nationwide broadband project MOROdigital, aconium GmbH supports the development processes in the project regions, acts as an interface between the ministry and the regions and thus ensures the effective public dissemination of the project results
