Since October 17, the municipalities of Nüsttal, Rasdorf and districts of Hofbieber and Hilders have been able to use faster Internet, as the first cluster of the major broadband expansion project in the district of Fulda has been finalized.
Residents of the affected municipalities and districts can now surf at a minimum speed of 30 Mbps. Bandwidths of 100 Mbps are available for 75 percent of the affected population. The federal government is contributing almost 10 million euros to the broadband expansion in Fulda. Following the ground-breaking ceremony in March of this year, all clusters in the district are to be expanded by the end of 2018.
