The coronavirus pandemic has emphatically highlighted the need for high-performance broadband access across the country. Working from home, tele-learning instead of face-to-face teaching in schools – i n many areas of life, the importance of expanding fast internet access across the country became immediately apparent. To ensure that all regions of the country are connected to future-proof broadband networks, the federal broadband funding program supports the establishment of a sustainable telecommunications infrastructure in regions without market-driven expansion.
The implementation of the funded projects is the responsibility of the local authorities. In order to provide them with sustainable support in the implementation of the funded projects, the project management agency offers a comprehensive range of workshop formats that are specifically aimed at the employees and stakeholders involved in the implementation of the federally funded broadband expansion. The challenges of such projects include legal requirements and changing technical developments. These aspects are addressed in the events and tailored precisely to the requirements of the participants. In addition to providing information, the events also offer the opportunity for discussion and room for individual questions.
In order to ensure holistic and continuous support even in times of social distancing, the project sponsor reacted immediately after the coronavirus measures came into force. By switching the workshop portfolio to a purely online format via video conferencing, the needs of the participants could be anticipated. The smooth transition to the new form of presentation was therefore the right step in these challenging times to properly meet the greatly increased demand for information and knowledge for the targeted implementation of the funding projects. Sensitized by the pandemic-related events, it was now all the more clear that broadband expansion must continue to be driven forward with vigor. This is why we, as an entrusted project management agency of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), will continue to be available to you in the coming months as a reliable and competent partner with our training courses. Our qualified speakers have further developed the content of the workshops in terms of topicality and practical relevance in order to provide you with even more tailored information relevant to your funding project.
Feel free to contact us and arrange your individual seminar date from the extensive catalog of workshop formats or book your participation directly on one of the dates offered on our website. The minimum number of participants per workshop is ten. Participation is free of charge for grant recipients and employees involved in a funded project.
