On 30 September 2020, the Interreg Baltic Sea Region project LUCIA will kick off its “mid-term webinar series”. Until 4 November 2020, six urban lighting topics will be in the spotlight each Wednesday morning.
The mid-term webinars are directed towards municipal experts and decision makers dealing with public lighting and its implementation, as well as other interested parties in the field of municipal infrastructure and services.
Each webinar puts the spotlight on a relevant lighting subject, which LUCIA project partners are dealing with in depth in an interdisciplinary, transnational exchange. The following webinars will be held:
- 30 September 2020, 09:30–11:00 CEST: People first – Cooperation for a smarter city
- 07 October 2020, 09:30–11:00 CEST: Urban design – Creating liveable urban spaces and fostering sustainable tourism
- 14 October 2020, 09:30–11:00 CEST: Target groups – Managing needs and demands towards urban lighting
- 21 October 2020, 09:30–11:00 CEST: Economic aspects – Financing investments in smart urban lighting and developing new business models
- 28 October 2020, 09:30–11:00 CEST: Multifunctionality – Technical solutions and the life-cycle approach
- 04 November 2020, 09:30–11:00 CET: The future of urban lighting
Following a keynote by an external expert, LUCIA partners will share the experiences made at their pilot sites so far. Attendees are also welcome to visit a virtual exhibition after each webinar and get in touch with LUCIA partners for exchange and networking.
