aconium is also organizing numerous workshops on the topic of broadband expansion and promotion this autumn. Despite the restrictions imposed by the ongoing pandemic, twenty practice-oriented workshops were held in September alone. Starting from the aconium regional offices, interested grant recipients and municipal representatives were able to immerse themselves in the theory and practice of fiber optics virtually via video conference. From basic courses to in-depth topics, the workshop programme offers a wide range of courses on digitalization, 5G and gigabit expansion. Municipalities are supported from the request for funds to construction management and commissioning.
In addition, aconium GmbH hosted an online workshop on the topic of 5G on September 22 on the “Digitalstadt Darmstadt” online platform. Among other things, the colleagues provided information on the current status of 5G development and prepared the participants for the identification of locations, political and technical framework conditions and the expansion of mobile data networks.
