With a sensational campaign consisting of rewritten advertising slogans, a German business initiative has called for widespread vaccination. Under the well-known hashtag #ZusammenGegenCorona (Together Against Corona), more than 150 companies and brands have spread the campaign against vaccination fatigue on their corporate social media channels, achieving a combined reach of hundreds of millions of clicks.
The new Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomes the campaign: “We will only defeat coronavirus together. It is crucial that as many people as possible get vaccinated. Then the virus can spread less. We must now put all our energy into this. I am delighted that everyone is joining in, helping, raising their voice and supporting the #ZusammenGegenCorona campaign. This is an outstanding sign of social responsibility and initiative. My appeal to everyone: please get vaccinated!”

aconium GmbH has also taken part in the largest coronavirus initiative in the German economy. The company claim “Promoting innovation – shaping the future” was transformed into the message “Promoting vaccination – shaping the future” and disseminated on the company’s own social media channels. For aconium Managing Director Tim Brauckmüller, the companies’ campaign is an important signal: “Science and solidarity are the way out of the pandemic. That’s why we can’t appeal often enough: Get vaccinated!”
