The Interreg North Sea Region (NSR) 2IMPREZS project has won the “People in Focus” award for the North Sea Region Video Contests 2020! This year, there were 24 applications in total – 16 in the “Explainer Video” category and 8 in the “People in Focus” category.
The jury, appointed by the Interreg NSR Monitoring Committee, was composed of 14 members total (two from each of the countries representing the programme). The winners of the Interreg NSR Video Contest were announced and presented at the North Sea Conference, held virtually in light of the COVID-19 pandemic on the 10th of November.

The implementation of the transnational energy saving strategy through the 2IMPREZS project aims to achieve energy savings of 30% in 141 schools across the North Sea Region. This corresponds to a reduction in emissions of 7,320 tonnes of CO2. As project partner, aconium is responsible for communication with the schools in the region of Lower Saxony. The participating schools will be supported throughout the entire project and have a fixed contact person for the implementation of the Energy Challenges and the sustainable reduction of energy. In addition, aconium organises local meetings of the schools to promote the transnational exchange of knowledge. aconium also takes the lead on project communication, ensuring EU-level exposure of the 2IMPREZS project.
