On May 7 and 8, two workshops for funding recipients in the federal broadband funding program took place at the regional office for Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein of aconium GmbH.
Representatives from 23 districts came to Osterholz-Scharmbeck to find out more about the funding program and its implementation and to clarify open questions in a direct exchange with employees of aconium, the project management agency of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). After the previous event in February dealt with the selection procedure and requesting funds, this time the focus was on the federal government’s materials concept, broadband measurements in the project area and information on procuring materials in stock. The seminars, which were enriched by many questions and comments from the applicants, were followed by one-to-one discussions in which further topics relating to the respective expansion projects could be discussed on an individual level.
Background:
As the BMVI’s official project management agency, aconium GmbH offers workshops in its regional offices to answer applicants’ individual questions regarding the handling of the procedure under the federal broadband funding program. The events serve as a central point of contact for applicants in a region. Procedural steps are explained on site in a direct exchange, thus actively supporting the implementation of the projects.
Our funding hotline is also available to answer applicants’ questions by telephone on 030 23 32 49 777 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) or by e-mail at projekttraeger@aconium.eu.
