On December 12, aconium GmbH held a meeting at its regional office for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia with applicants/beneficiaries of the federal broadband funding program.
Representatives from five municipalities came to Leipzig to find out more about the funding program and its implementation and to clarify open questions in a direct exchange with employees from aconium GmbH, the project management agency of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). For the funding recipients, who have chosen the economic viability gap model for their projects, the topics of selection procedure, request for funds and the first amendment to the guideline “Funding to support broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany” were of particular interest.
Background
As the project management agency of the BMVI, aconium GmbH offers workshops in its regional offices to answer individual questions from applicants regarding the handling of the procedure as part of the federal broadband funding program. The events serve as a central point of contact for applicants in a region. Procedural steps are explained on site in a direct exchange, thus actively supporting the implementation of the projects.
Our funding hotline is also available to answer applicants’ questions by telephone on 030 23 32 49 777 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) or by e-mail at projekttraeger@aconium.eu.
